I told this story before, however it is so mind-boggling it deserves repeating.

A few weeks ago, during the post-game press conference, a reporter asked Eli about hitting young receivers (off the street) down the middle or corner routes - Here was his answer:

A: You know, tried to take a shot down the field just to try to put it kind of a line drive throw, put it in there. You know, we have to keep working on it. Sometimes we are getting some of these throws for the first time in games , so we just have to find a way to hit them in the live situations.

What head coach in their right mind would call a play for the first time during the game. Now you know why receivers constantly drop balls during the game. Eli is not a quitter, but he should quit and join the rest of the team.

Mara and Tisch (whatever he does), should sell the team...
