I don't know, man.

I think there's a slight possibility that Reid is eying a coach that was either still in the playoffs as of yesterday or possibly still in the playoffs as of today.

I think it's interesting that for the last two hires, Reid reached into the College Coaching ranks and not the NFL.

I just don’t see it happening, but I hope I’m wrong.

I found that interesting also though.

In one respect, I LOVE that Reid is bringing talent up from the college ranks; hopefully these guys produce and will stick around with the organization for a while.
On the other hand, you're not bringing in anyone to challenge you or to be a legitimate sounding-board as a peer.

I wonder how much Valai picked up at Georgia. Those Bama DC's love to play them some matchup zone. Which is a staple in Wade Phillips' defense as well. Give Reid credit for this, he did a terrific job between him and Childress of bringing college innovation into the NFL on offense.

Truth. And watching Mahomes execute this offense with just enough gunslinger to keep the play alive and make the chicken salad is going to be absolutely off the wall fantastic.

This is a good observation zilla. Maybe Andy is doing some due diligence. Maybe there’s more to it.....
I just hope they don’t go after Mel Tucker - he is awful as an NFL coordinator.
