QB play contributes to the defense...
Mike Singletary after being fired following an Alex season: "You gotta have a quarterback," Singletary said. "That's what I learned about all this. It helps. A lot. It also helps the defense." Before the rants about Singletary being a failure HC, I'd just like to note that the guy is in the NFL HOF for being really, really, really good at defense...I think he knows a thing or two about what helps the defense.
