It has to be a young ascending player and a first rounder. That's the only compensation that's acceptable. There's no reason to trade a cheap elite player at a prime position for anything less.

Man, this would be tough to swallow. Marcus is better than an unproven first round pick. I'd need a pick + something else to feel decent about this one. Just keep him and get him a counselor please hahaha

The only difference is that with a #1 you have 5 years on a rookie deal. Peters is going to be darn difficult to keep after next year. So depending on who is available (but need LB, edge rusher or CB) and what your scouts say a decent 1 could be worth moving him.
