Said that they had absolutely no choice but to move on. That he was seriously causing issues and drama within the locker room, and consistently having battles with coaches. The individual made it clear, he was one hell of a football player, but that it was an absolute MUST that they separate Peters from the program.

What does that sound like to you? Peters is at a place for 3 seasons, and gets kicked out elsewhere. Familiar?

I hate the fact that we are losing one of the best corners in football. But I also recognize that if there weren’t some serious ****ing problems going on here, he’d never have been traded.

These dumbasses did the homework on this kid. Why the **** would you draft him if he's that big of a problem? Fat **** let his own son die to drugs, so why the **** did he think he could handle a nutcase like Peters? He's absolutely horrendous at curbing this type of self destructive behavior. It took Kelce WAY longer than it should have to finally turn the corner, and now we've cost ourselves an All Pro CB on his rookie deal. Better not EVER draft a guy with even small red flags again, because now Reid has proven that no, this isn't the locker room to help troubled players.

Why??? Obviously we got hosed. We knew the details of the Alex Smith trade right away. Just give Clark Jr your season ticket $$$ and shut the hell of dummies. I’ve got a buddy who went to camp last year up at St. Joe the first week. Said that almost every player stayed after practice to sign stuff and socialize with fans. Said Peters blew everyone off that asked or said anything. Straight back to the locker room. Back then, we both kinda laughed and said, “he’s an asshole, but he’s our asshole”... well, not anymore. For better or worse.

This is gonna sound unreal, but it’s legit.

My son and I went to camp this last year and I have a peters pro bowl jersey my fiancée got me for Father’s Day that I brought to have him sign to put up in the cave (once we move and I get one) I wait while he signs for the kids until there’s a gap when the kids have all had their stuff signed and he declines every photo op (even one with a kid in a wheelchair) and me and 5-7 adult white guys hand him stuff to sign (I hand him his pro bowl jersey) and he says “no autos for you guys” and I think little of it. A black guy walks up behind us and Peters reaches past us to grab a card from the guy to sign.

The group of of looked at each other like “huh?”

One of them asked him “did we do something wrong Marcus?”

He just looked at us and smiled...almost to say “I’m not signing for white guys”

It just amazes me that people keep saying the chiefs needed to do everything possible to keep MP because he is a top 5 player at his position. Does anyone really think the Chiefs don't know that? Does anyone truly think the Chiefs got up a couple of weeks ago and said "f@@@ it" lets trade/give away MP for less than he's worth just because we can. The people at 1 Arrowhead Drive have done this because they feel this is the best way forward for the Chiefs.
