Look, no "Offense" intended But the game is STILL the same as it was way back when. The object of the game is for the Offense to score touchdowns and it is the job of the Defense to prevent that from happening. Today, it is STILL done the same way - with the exception of million dollar computer system and their "predictions" and 75 coaches and trainers….and multi-million dollar training facilities.

Honestly - if the game had changed much over the years - how do you suppose that there are (for the most part) only 2 base defenses? Suttle changes, granted, but it is still, "Cover your man and I'll cover mine".

I WILL give you the idea that the officiating has gone to shit. Hell, when you think about it - there were less "career ending" injuries BEFORE all these changes in officiating went into effect - most, (my opinion), is nothing more than giving the Zebra guys Television time…

Ed Hochuli and his "guns" were talked about every game. That part of it is screwed up.

I want to go back to the days when the officials were there to break up fights and walk off the 10 yard penalties while holding the ball out at arms length.
