Earl Thomas a longshot to be a Chief

They just said on ESPN we were on the list of teams that he could be dealt to.

Collins is a FA after the year, doubt he gets out of NY.

Maybe Seattle doesn't want to trade him in the conference it looks bad if they trade him to Dallas and he causes them to miss the playoffs.

Because it's a discussion board and your opinion matters just as much as mine does?

Unless you think we have some kind of effect on what the Chiefs do, which is silly.

Well, you keep bringing up the point that the fandom overrates our draft picks, which doesn't mean a damn thing when it comes to the Chiefs potentially trading for Thomas. Pretty clear we've set our price we're willing to pay, and if Seattle doesn't think it's good enough then discussions are probably over.

They will probably franchise him

It matches up more with the age range. Possibly depending on how James Buettcher his new DC feels how he fits. I haven’t watched them this pre season and early on since they got a new coaching staff. Checking on his availability never hurts

Reid was asked later in the press conference to confirm he was talking about Thomas.

“There are some rumors out there, I guess,” Reid answered to a laughing media room.
