Yeah, it could be improved, but we don't really know. The Rams will be the first quality team we've played in a while.

We'll also see the Chargers again soon, and while they aren't a great team on the whole they would be in the postseason if the season ended today, and they lit our defense up for >500 yards - and it really should have been worse.

If the defense has made progress, we should see some signs of that against the Rams and in the second Chargers game. If we see more of the same then I think we all know where this is headed.
