That being said, his cap number is crazy good this year and next. But then he's a free agent at the end of 2019 and you're facing both of your starting CBs hitting the market. They're both under 25. And they're both damn good.

He's going to be worth a 1st, he's going to likely cost you a shit ton of money and the CB you just traded Alex Smith for will probably end up walking so you can retain him after next season.

I say pass. This team either needs to retain Steven Nelson, make a bargain CB get and rely on their coaching staff to coach them up, or draft high. Probably two of the three of those things.

Resign Fuller, have Ramsey for 2 years and maybe a franchise tag then let him walk.

The Chiefs have a 2 year window. It's time to win a ****ing super bowl.
