No, I don’t think it’s the only reason why necessarily. I just think Hill being on the roster almost makes it a necessity that they say it was largely due to ‘lies’ that they decided to immediately cut him.

This sucks. The Chiefs lost tonight, and Kareem Hunt lost the most.

I also think there's a bunch of outside factors, too.

Redskins are getting flack for claiming Foster(as they should). Any team after the Ray Rice ordeal is going to look horrible if they keep someone on the roster with domestic violence associated with their name.

Chiefs did not lose. We weren’t going to retain Hunt anyways. Ware is a better blocker and receiver. We have Mahomes. We rarely run the ball anyways. As long as we have Mahomes we will be in every game
