People love this movie or hate it. It's my my very favorite Christmas movie. The Era it's based in is the Era my folks, aunts and uncles grew up in. We watched it as a family every year.

Having no children, most of my family being gone and recently divorced, it's been a rough holiday season for me. This movie cheered me up.

Most of my family is gone as well. This movie always makes me smile. Brings back great memories. I watched it last night and have it on again this morning. Merry Christmas to the planet!
