Hard to bitch when the Seahawks took him in the 5th last year. haha. He was projected to be a 3rd round pick and they got a steal. The Chiefs make stupid decisions like bringing back a punter on a lucrative deal instead of burning a late round pick on one every 4 years. Anyhow, it's whatever. I've tried to bury that in the back of my cranium for a while now.

I think we need one more year of heavy D draft. Next year I think you go back to balanced, and would be looking for O'linemen and WR's.

That's fine, but you then have to get at least a TE in free agency who's better than stone hands Harris, and given how "complex" Andy's playbook is it makes far more sense to take a 3rd round WR this year and let him learn the playbook this year and make an impact next year when you might have to let Watkins go.
