Latest MMQB mock has the CHiefs taking Lonnie Johnson in round 1

National guys use the Chiefs as placefillers, man.

The Chiefs 'need' a CB, Lonnie Johnson is a tall one, Spags has had tall ones - okay, lets do that.

Whoever wrote that article probably spent 30 seconds on the Chiefs. The only time they get any kind of in-depth review is when they're used in some "X team needs to trade Y player, maybe the Chiefs would give up their entire first two days worth of picks!"

Or now Mahomes articles.

But if you're expecting any kind of fundamental understanding of the team, look elsewhere. The Chiefs ain't taking Lonnie Johnson in the 1st and I'd be pretty damn surprised if they took him in the 2nd. His a mid 3rd selection in all likelihood, IMO.
