Dont know if you remember the Bully of Skidmore Mo they made a movie about him. Well Quitman is very near Skidmore and Harley knew and hated the guy. Most believe it was the the sheriff that killed him but rumor floated around that Harley got him. I suppose we will never know. One of my best buddies farms very near Quitman the rumors are there.

Sundance just debuted a show about the murder of Ken McElroy last night. Recap/history and new interviews of the events...not sure how many episodes but the first one was pretty good.

My Wife's brothers went to school with Ken Rex McElroy, built the pool hall that he was shot in front of. Never found the gun, no pictures, must have been an urban legend . The movie was in broad daylight with Brian Dennehy

Thanks yeah I remember that movie. I was hunting a lot with my buddy from Quitman when all that went down. He knew better than to hang out in Skidmore. Burlington Junction or Maryville was more our style.
