Yeah. I used to get so damned involved with the season - especially while Marty was here and each and every year I got my guts pulled out, stomped on the ground, thrown into a fire and, generally, a HUGE letdown.

Now? I sit back, enjoy the games and hope for the best. super bowl or bust!

I’ve got 53 years tied up in this team. From ages 9-14 it was fantastic. Thank God I was chasing girls during my 15-29 years or I would be more depressed than I am. Every year during the Marty years I truly believed that this was the year.

Last year killed me because we finally had the QB to get us there & that stupid one who sucks the penis lines up offside. What a ****ing moron. He’s lucky I wasn’t on the field with a gun or I would have blown his ****ing brains out & gladly went to prison.

Sorry I just had a bad day & started reading this thread. I feel better now.

But every year is a new year!!! And NOBODY know it more than the Chiefs "Promotions 'n shit" department. Always selling the dream...

That being said, this might be our year. I'll get more invested when we've won the AFCCG.
