Are you guys seriously giving the OP shit for this thread? We were down 24-0 AT HOME IN THE PLAYOFFS. We are all Chiefs fans with Super Bowl expectations. 99% of people would be emotional in that situation.

And yes it was a disaster. The players weren’t ready and neither was ST’s. Get your players ready. Part of that blame is on coaching.

Nick Jacobs has been pointing out that hole in the ST’s coverage since the Patriots game and said Toub needed to fix that bc teams will try to exploit it. Well the Texans exploited it and got a TD.

That was 100% on Toub.

It was dumb starting the thread. It should have been in the game day thread with the rest of those takes. But I get the emotion.

I’m not going to get mad at all the folks who were pissed. We’re Chiefs fans. We’re conditioned for disappointment.

Watching a 24-0 shutout to start the game at home was devastating considering the expectations.

I’m not going to act like I wasn’t as emotional or pissed.

Did you run here to start a thread before the 2nd quarter had even started though?

It’s not like we were down 24-0 in the 3rd quarter and Reid wasn’t adjusting to what they were doing.

The thread and the idea were/are ****ing stupid.

This is correct. It was fluky shit that had nothing to do with Reid.

I guess I am finally part of the 1%. I just said, "'Cause Chiefs" and continued to watch. I figured a) It might be the last game of my Chiefs season, or b) We might just come back.

It was a comedy of errors from unusual suspects. It almost HAD to turn around.

Watched the game with my daughter. She had been so excited for the game all week. No idea where all the interest in the Chiefs came from this year from her, but man she loves Mahomes.

She got so upset watching them get down early - just like I used to do at the end of every single year. At 14-0 & 21-0 I told her that it was still extremely early and this team could score quickly. We weren't out of it. Had a lot of anxious energy so I turned the game on in the bedroom and folded some laundry while watching.

Right before that 4th & 1, my daughter went downstairs and put on her Mahomes jersey and came back up. I was hoping they didn't go for it. I knew they'd get it and eventually get another score. But they kicked it. Then the big return. Then all the TD's.

I was anxious, but never upset. Like you said, it was just a comedy of errors. Everything that could go wrong, was going wrong. The dropped passes ticked me off most, but that has nothing to do with coaching.

My daughter takes credit for the win for putting her jersey on. Says she'll make sure it's on before the game this week.

What does any of that have to do with having to move on from Andy because Kelce Hill and Robinson dropped passes/punts?
