Buckner is a very good DT but yea it’s a crazy return. Someone else in this thread said it but seeing him away from that stacked D line will be interesting.

Oh, and the teardown of the 9ers D has already begun. Their defense will be a shell of what it was in the SB about two years from now. And they’ll be stuck with a game manager led offense.

Just read a good point.

The Colts and Chiefs had to have had talks re: Jones given Ballard + Veach and the fact that they were in the market.

So, either the Chiefs turned down 13th overall (wanted more? didn't want to trade him?) and are okay with his price tag, or the talks never happened. I think it's the former.

I doubt they want to trade Jones to a team like Indy who we could see in the playoffs

If we trade Jones it’ll probably be to the NFC.
