Trades don’t just come about in the 10 minutes you are on the clock. Look at the Mahomes deal. The Chiefs knew how far they could move up and then they started talking to Buffalo before the draft.

Besides this trade would have to happen today. I mean before Jones is traded he would have to sign a contract (or the tender but no team is trading for him without him inked for the next 4-5 years). Jones is not going to be traded for picks in this draft.
