Not a bad idea to bulk up on the OL. I expect Wylie to be the starter Week 1 next year because "chemistry" and "familiarity", but not a bad idea. Def need depth. But I'd love a corner so we don't have to worry beyond next year.

What I did notice though is that they had him ranked as a top 100 prospect earlier in the pre-draft process, but dropped him down significantly after the combine. I think his best fit is at guard because he is a people mover and it might help him for his pass pro deficiencies. I like this guy’s finish, and maybe Kansas City was attracted to the fact he has Tackle experience, but I don’t think that will be his best position as a pro.

Some of you guys that are pining for CB seem to forget the way our system works. We could just as easily take a value safety in the next two picks and be fine. Tyrann and Juan would just end up lining up on receivers more snaps than last year. These guys move around. If there's a S/CB hybrid out there (for value), even better.

Grade: B+.

Not a major need for Chiefs but has rare fluidity and lateral movement skill for the offensive tackle spot with spectacular size. At times opens the gate too early in pass protection, yet that can be coached out of him.
