Who cares? The guy is done.

Andy benched him for the final three games of the regular season and didn't even bother activating him for the playoffs.

I'd like to see Terez or Nate or Mellinger report why this happened. McCoy signed with the Chiefs because of his relationship with Veach and Reid, which appeared to be burnt to crisp by the time the playoffs rolled around.

Totally agree.

I’d love to read that story too because I heard it had nothing at all to do with his performance on the field.

He was our best back most of the regular season from a RB carry perspective. Very strange we chose to activate Darwin instead of Shady. Id like to know the reasoning, too. And it might be due to something unrelated to performance.

The scuttlebutt is that DT would do ST, and Shady wouldn't, for obvious reasons.

Does this relate to some pretty ugly legal issues being swept under the rug?

What I heard wasn’t nearly that specific. Just that he wasn’t playing because of issues other than his on-field performance

He wasn’t great, though. He may not have broken an arm tackle all season, and his burst paled in comparison to Damien.
