I literally said “you didn’t say it” in the post you quoted. But you did argue against my point that his run blocking was clearly an issue for them and that’s why they’ve moved on. It’s obviously not the pass blocking. If he were even an average run blocker, he’s probably still a Chief.

Thuney is a much better pass blocker than run blocker. Get a ****ing clue.

Blythe is a good signing, but in no way should this signing impact how soon we pick a center in the draft.

If a guy like Dickerson (that can start day 1) is there in the second, you take him and let Blythe compete at both center snd Right guard.

Right now, Blythe is the penciled in starting center. No question.

He’s not a “very good run blocker”.

He’s a very good pass blocker.

And a slightly above average run blocker.

Now you’ll pretend like you were just arguing the part about them being over it when it’s clearly the reason he’s not a Chief regardless of whether they made him an offer or not. His run blocking was so bad that they even benched him to give Kilgore (a better run blocker, but not as good of a pass blocker) a look at one point this season. Now they let him walk and signed a guy that is a much better run blocker. You do the ****ing math dumbass.

We're not picking a center in the draft.

Look at what Chris Meck posted earlier.

Even if we draft a guy to PLAY center, he'll likely have been a tackle or maybe a guard in college.

And it's one thing to sign a brokedick like Long to an incentive laden contract. It's another thing to spend a high draft pick on shit like Dickerson. It's like this fanbase learned nothing from Dee Ford.

He’s not a great run blocker. That’s just the truth. There’s nothing wrong with slightly above average in a passing league. It’s not a knock by any means. That’s damn good when he’s also a great pass blocker.
