I like this...

But Blythe was born in Kansas City before his family moved up to Iowa, and told reporters on Monday that he always rooted for the Chiefs.

“I just wanted to be here,” Blythe said, via Matt McMullen of the team’s website. “I wanted to come in and play for a great team and play along the offensive line wherever I fit.”

I think this is a vote in confidence for OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Nigeria, Auburn, 6th round pick for Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, and now on the Kansas City Chiefs.

I could see the Chiefs at least talking to Aldon Smith's agent. Aldon has lots of football talent, but it is difficult to walk away from the demons that he battles.

Chiefs currently have Frank Clark, age 28, Michael Danna Age 24, Taco Charlton age 27, Tim Ward age 24, Austin Edwards age 24, and Demone Harris age 26.

With Clark, Danna, and Charlton probably the only for sure players to make the roster, Chiefs need at least one more.

The draft would be the first place to look and then free agents like, Jadeveon Clowney, Melvin Ingram, Justin Houston, Ryan Kerrigan, Olivier Vernon, and Aldon Smith, would be next.

Thuney, Blythe, and LDT/Long, make a pretty formidable interior, Offensive Line. I like what the Chiefs are doing to address the issues. Add a solid, Remmers to that line and Allegretti, Niang, Wylie, Prince, Rankins, all potentially growing, and we’re not looking half bad. Our coaching can and will make some of these players become solid contributors. Add a Jenkins or Cosmi to this line and we’re ready to roll for the upcoming season.

1. KC signed center Austin Blythe as a free agent from the Rams.
2. KC re-signed center Darryl Williams from their Practice Squad.
3. KC already had guard, Nick Allegretti that could play center.
4. KC last season had center Austin Reiter, that they considered re-signing, but haven't.
5. KC last season had center Daniel Kilgore and he is still a free agent.
6. Former KC center Rodney Hudson was traded from Raiders to Cards. Chiefs were reported to want him if he became a free agent.
7. Some KC fans wanted center Corey Linsley signed. Chargers signed him.

Nope. Several reports of interest but only 2 actual signings.

What did I miss about Jacobs that has you comparing him to a bot created in the early 90s by a crumbling USSR to provide hollow football takes?

I thought with a name like Austin Blythe he was being hired as a marketing director or VP of Inclusivity Training.
