My dad actually did upgrade that computer to 64k and I do still have possession of it. I figure one of these days its got to be a collectors item...

17" Dell Alienware with a nice cooling pad.
Overkill most of the time, but do a little gaming on it and virtual machinery, and run a couple of OSs. |

I guess we can now add to the list for the average CPer...
12" dong 4.3 40 Goatee Shaved head (hiding the male pattern baldness, and aerodynamics for the 4.3 40 ) Camaro Super model wife $1500-2000+ custom built PC or 17" laptop with an I7 processor, 32 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce graphics card... because it makes ChiefsPlanet run faster. |

I build them and update them as needed. Right now this is what I have:
I7-10700K water cooled and overclocked to 5ghz. Gigabyte Z490 Aurus Elite Motherboard RTX 3080 Founders Edition 2 500gb NVME drives 2 1tb ssd drives 3tb old mechanical hard drive With the chip shortage it took me 3 months of trying to get the video card. I'm just glad I was able to get it for MSRP. |

Currently running a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon I bought on sale from hotel room right after Mahomes broke one off in Houston.
I'm too lazy to look up the specs but it's a lot faster than the other ones I've been running. I have it run a docking station at both home and the office because who does anything on a laptop keyboard unless they're actually traveling? At home I have a 32" screen and at the office I have 2x 22" screen. I probably need to find some other monitors that will fit at the office, but I'm lazy. I bought some Surface bluetooth and mouse sets for both places and damn, they are nice. I was sick of giant ****ing keyboards because at the office they just sit on top of the desk. They have a nice feel, don't take much room, and have a clean utilitarian look to them. I'd definitely recommend those. ![]() ![]() |
