Evidently 2 playoff teams are talking to Miami about a trade.

With us only having Sneed, Fenton and Keyes under contract after this year I’d be willing to bet we are one of them.

Well, we can disagree but think about this for a second…

When we go to nickel defense, Mike Hughes is one of our outside corners when we’re fully healthy.

I doubt Veach is fully comfortable with Hughes or Baker consistently matching up with Evans, Godwin, Brown and Miller. Especially with the chance we may not have Clark helping apply pressure.

I could be wrong…but I think Veach will see if he can get a deal struck with Miami that makes sense for both teams if for nothing else than to raise the price for another playoff team.

Someone on 610 said- the Chiefs are already a 14 win team- how many more wins would Howard get us?

I understand that, and it is a good point- but he Would help in the Playoffs. So that is why you make the trade.

Our CB room would suddenly look like a strength.
