Amazing
Yet this year our current starting 5 has not taken one single snap at another position that I can recall. Maybe Niang the first day or two at LT, but that is it, no?

Ah ...

Thank you, Mr. Pitt Gorilla.

The whole thing makes a lot more sense now. 4 TEs seemed like a lot to me.

If we plan on keeping 4 TEs, I'm feeling a lot better about Fortson's emotional state.

At this point I’m so bought into the hype I want Fortson at WR2.

Word out of camp is that Fortson can kick XPs, too.

Keep that in mind ...

Are you related to Bell. Insane blocker is a bit much, he misses more than he blocks.

Fortson can actually catch the ball too.

Got a PFF grade in the 80s for that game apparently. OK he's not playing Bosa, but much more encouraging than I expected and as you say a lot of people rate his talent. Risky to rely on but if he's average its another Veach masterclass.

Once again, (according to Mitch Holthus), Bell was the highest rated BLOCKING TE in the NFL last year.

Fans from all teams have been saying players "actually catch the ball" for years.

That doesn't make somebody good.

I'm not shitting on Fortson. Just saying.
