I should probably add "your team would suck without your franchise QB, we would be fine!" to my bullshit fan narrative list... the first part is true for almost every team. Yeah, Cassel once won 10 games or whatever in a shit division, some circumstances will work out.

But, the Bills aren't winning significant playoff games without Allen, just like the Chiefs wouldn't without Mahomes (well, except winning the 2nd half of the Browns game without him)..... and unless one team is far and away better in a certain area, being marginally better in an area or even overall doesn't compare to how your franchise QB plays.
