The team lacks discipline and a hunger to win.
The defense lacks a killing instinct.

We are definitely seeing the results of picking low in the draft every year, trading draft picks, and not hitting on the draft picks we do have.

This isnt a playoff team...

The offense has been and continues to be my biggest concern. They are stubborn with running up the gut way too often and in general no creativity. I firmly believe CEH playing time is directly correlated to his draft position and trying to make us forget about Hunt. But it’s really only making it worst as CEH is completely exposed with too much workload.

We really can’t figure out how to impose our will against this common defensive strategy? Is it just Mahomes not making the right reads? He has terrible happy feet in the pocket right now and seems to have way too many predetermined throws. I don’t believe for a second there aren’t plays to be made. He loves getting out of the pocket for big plays but that doesn’t work when the defense is watching you from 25 yards back. You can no longer catch them off guard as much out of the pocket. I believe he is only completing like 50% of passes out of the pocket right now.

Offense was totally lethargic today. They knew the defense was trash and couldn’t make the plays they needed to make. There was absolutely no fire. When the game is going badly, put the ball in the hands of your play makers.!

Yeah right from the beginning it was looking like one of those nights. The 3rd down pass that went through Tyreek's hands and hit him in the facemask and then the fumble on the kick return. Not a good way to start the game. The offense has overall been good. They're just making critical mistakes. It's been uncharacteristic. Don't really know what's up.

I actually don’t think it’s uncharacteristic. This team has anyways been sloppy and prone to self inflicted mistakes. The difference right now is defenses are gladly giving us more chances to do it and we seem to be happy to oblige instead of imposing our will on them. It’s sickening to me how all season long we have not figured out how to bust these defenses and instead just run pointless running plays.

Yeah it's the turnovers that's been uncharacteristic. KC was 8th in the NFL in turnover differential at +6 last season, in 2019 they were tied for 7th at +8, in 2018 they were 6th at +9.

This season so far, they're at -7. The only team that's worse is Jacksonville at -10.

Teams making us run more plays is leading to turnovers.

Goes way beyond turnovers.. Clearly the D has taken a step back. Veach has done a terrible job acquiring talent on that side of the ball. I know the homers will be mad I said anything negative about the Chiefs but its the truth.

It WAS in the hands of the play makers. Mahomes couldn't hit anyone. When he does, the other playmaker (Hill) bobbles it for an INT. Then Mahomes makes an ill timed throw with a DL in his face for another INT. Kelce made a few plays, then got knocked the F out.

So what other playmakers do you have in mind? Hardman? He drops everything that is thrown at him.

MEH getting hurt might be a best case scenario for this offense.

Maybe they’ll finally stop trying to make a silk purse from a sow’s ear and stop running the ****ing ball on 1st down like Herm Edwards is in charge.

That goddamn run, short pass, run, punt drive may have been the most infuriating drive I’ve seen in Reid’s tenure. Just completely inexcusable and things predictably fell to hell from that point forward.

Half of CP jerks off furiously anytime we have an amazing day running the football and move the ball roughly 80% as well as we would on a bad day passing it.

I’ll never understand the fascination with doing things the hard way.
