I still think there is a chance that Mahomes' foot still isn't 100%. Their foot plant can really hurt a QB's passing. Pat really isn't running quite the same, either.

I saw Mahomes really step into a few passes against the Raiders. It was good to see.

One of the big differences is that Mahomes was taking the short stuff early, instead of waiting until the pass rush was about to kill him. Mahomes finally accepted that a short pass isn't a "losing play".

It was great that Mahomes got to turn it loose late in the game. It rewarded him for doing the right thing, so hopefully he will keep doing it.
