I lived there for almost 20 years and used to go to games because it was really easy to get tickets and it was pretty cheap. Can’t imagine actually becoming a Jaguar fan. It’s mostly transplants there so the Jags are just the local team, but most people that lived there before the team arrived there in the mid 90’s were Dolphin fans. The transplants kept generally kept their allegiance to their original team and only wore teal when they wanted to go see the clown show. It’s also a college football first town, which has made it even harder for them to develop any kind of fan base.
