The CP consensus is that the NFL is rigged. Welp, as such, I think it’d be great to discuss this week’s script.

The NFL is rigged, so this should be easy. As easy as predicting a WWE In-Ring interview being rudely interrupted by a rival with a steel chair.

Call your shot, what kind of week 18 shenanigans is the NFL up to?

Las Vegas vs L.A: Which new stadium does the NFL prefer? TWO teams in L.A make the playoffs?

Will the NFL write in a tie game sending BOTH to the playoffs?

Will they sneak the Steelers in for one last hoorah for Ruthlessraper?

Or will they write in Lamar Jackson because he generates ratings?

Will they give the most prestigious player (Mahomes) the #1 seed, or do they want to see the Chiefs in the WC round for extra ratings?

Ya'll joke, but Blackops is right. Maybe it's time to seriously consider the role divine intervention can play in rigging games.

To address your points, im not sure the Manning thing applies here. Manning was far more commercial than Ben. Ben, after the rape allegations, hasn't really been in favor of the league.

We have to understand that these games are rigged at minimum a season or two in advance. We have to think big picture here.

I imagine it would be pretty hard to get every movement and step down before each game, so does the league give them a script to practice before each game? I also think it would be difficult to not screw the script up, so the two teams have to practice the script in secret before the game, right?

And if everyone on the team isn't in on the fix, how do they select players to rig the games? Is it just the starters? What happens if one of the starters that has practiced the script all week long suddenly becomes ill and is unable to participate in the rigged game? Does the 2nd string guy know the games are fixed, or does he go out and actually try to play football? Is that why the refs are in the game, so that they can throw flags on the guys that don't know the script and are actually playing football?

Sounds like fixing the games is an exhausting task. It might be easier for them to just let the guys go out and play football instead of rigging it.

BlackOp was the one who said that Indy "fell on the sword" so Pittsburgh could get in. That's where my question was directed because that's a ridiculous take.

If he is to be believed, then someone on the Colts team had to be in on the fix because that one was so bad, it can't be explained by the refs "steering" it.
