I just saw a national CBS article where 5 of their people selected KC and 3 of them selected Cincy. You are not going to have 100% support when Cincy already beat you earlier in the season and KC’s defense has looked horrible at times this year, most recently against Cincy & Buffalo.

In any case, you hope the players can use some of the media hot takes as motivation to play their best.

You know gun to their head they aren't ever picking against Mahomes. But there's zero accountability for picking Cincy, and if you're right you can claim you saw the upset coming. Really stupid industry. And of course everyone sharing these clips far and wide is exactly what they want.

At least the Chiefs did not lose to the Bears, Jets and the Browns twice.

They are paper Tigers.

But they lost to Cincy, which means it is possible they lose to them again. We will see if Spags & the defense can do a better job this time. Mahomes & the offense will need to play very well, regardless of what the KC defense is doing. Need to have 0 turnovers on offense. I would like to see Butker avoid the mistakes of last week.

Then Cincy lost to the Browns and backed into the playoffs. Barely beat the Faders (who the Chiefs stomped) and got very lucky against a better Titan team.

We were stomping them until the refs took over the game.

6 times the refs gave them 1st downs. Chase got away with 3 long tds that they won't get this time. We stuffed them on 4th down and the refs gave them a new set of downs killing the clock
They got lucky and Joe knows it as he said in his press conference.

All of that is true, but Cincy is still capable of winning this weekend. Mahomes got lucky on a couple of throws that should have been picked against Cincy last time. He needs to play cleaner this time. The defense needs to play a lot better.

Well...KC wont be losing both starting tackles. They had to shuffle the O-line last second...

NFL Network will never mention this...or that "Ice in his Veins" Burrow couldn't score a TD at the end..in like 7 tries...even with an obvious false start no call. Amazing the refs could see everything else...but those FS are tricky to notice even when the Chiefs players are pointing at them.

The NFL was so impressed by that sterling job...they appointed them the SB.

I still think KC defense should have allowed them to score the TD with 80+ seconds left. The goal line stand only helped Cincy run out the clock. Give Mahomes 80+ seconds and some timeouts. He probably makes something happen.

Remember how Mahomes played against Buffalo the first time? You saw how he played the second time. Playoff Mahomes is on another level.
