Brian Flores says Fins owner offered $$ to throw games

https://www.sportscasting.com/brian-...osive-lawsuit/

Quote:
“In January 2022, Mr. Flores, who spent three years as the Head Coach of Defendant Miami Dolphins, Ltd. (the ‘Dolphins’ or ‘Miami’), found himself without a job. He was fired by the Dolphins after leading the team to its first back-to-back winning seasons since 2003. The purported basis for his termination was alleged poor collaboration. In reality, the writing had been on the wall since Mr. Flores’ first season as Head Coach of the Dolphins, when he refused his owner’s directive to ‘tank’ for the first pick in the draft. Indeed, during the 2019 season, Miami’s owner, Stephen Ross, told Mr. Flores that he would pay him $100,000 for every loss, and the team’s General Manager, Chris Grier, told Mr. Flores that ‘Steve’ was ‘mad’ that Mr. Flores’ success in winning games that year was ‘compromising [the team’s] draft position.'”
So, I pretty much guarantee that Ross did that, but that the discussions were private and not recorded, and there's no paperwork...but Flores would almost have to have some kind of proof to come out and say that in a lawsuit, right?

Yes, and Reek didn’t tip the ball, the defender behind him did. It was fairly obvious when the play was live and confirmed in the replays. Why, no, HOW people are still blaming Hill for that pick is completely baffling to me.

Proof that an owner tried to rig games and yet there's no way other games haven't been compromised...goid God some of you have your head stuck up your ass on how big a deal this is. Who else has been bribed to get a result? Officials? Players?

That play was kind of unlucky to be honest. Cinci had great coverage everywhere, and Mahomes really threw a great ball, Reek was in position but the DB just made a play.

This is what I mean when being results oriented. That play in a vacuum was fine. It was the plays at the end of the game, and in the 2nd half that were horrible.

They want to lose to get draft picks and the next Patrick Mahomes. Not bet on football.

You think a billionaire cares about making a million in gambling by rigging the game?

An owner with gambling site ties....don't be an idiot. Regardless it was bribery to attempt to steer a game towards a certain result. Things many people on this board said take place and this would be proof of it happening.

Yeah, it's those last 5 plays, taken in context, that are just so damming:

1. sack
2. Sack and fumble
3. incomplete pass
4. almost picked
5. Picked

I mean...godDAMN that's ****ing worse than Matt Cassel.

I hate to tell you this, but if you want to make money on throwing games you don't need to own a gambling site.

It has little to do with gambling. It's more about bribery to steer a game a certain way. How many officials have been compromised? Look at how many disastrous officiated games there have been over the years. Completely one sided calls.

But Tyreek does his best Darrell Revis and bats the ****ing ball right to a goddamn Bengal...
The ****ing Safety batted the ball to the other defender. It was a great play by the Safety. Go watch the replay.

JFC, the amount of ****ing weakness it takes to post the stupid shit you have posted since the game ended is astounding.

Kick the FG at the end of the 1st half, come out running at the beginning of the 2nd half, run some time off the clock, kick another FG at MINIMUM and we win.

That.

****ing.

Simple.
