There’s a reason why he didn’t see much of the field in Tampa. Yes, he’s fast but ball security issues, can’t block, can’t catch, can’t break tackles. We need workhorses, not gimmick RBs. We already have one of those in CEH and he’s not fooling anyone.

This offensive line though no reason any of them wouldn't average 6 yards a carry especially when teams are playing the pass we can knock of 10 yards a carry until we force them to stack the box but then they will pay when we hit Hardman or who we get in the draft down field for touchdowns.

I'm not near as down on losing Tyreek with all the draft picks we get.

I'm going preach about this offensive line and that the rest of division thinks they are going sack Patrick Mahomes. He thrives on the blitz that's what is hilarious to me bring on the blitz and Mahomes will carve teams up either with his arm or legs but Holy **** this offensive line we can bout get anyone to run behind Thuny Humphrey and Smith holy **** balls this offensive line is stacked.

Video of every carry and reception he made last year if you want to watch it.

People acting like the Chiefs would be signing him as the starter or something. He's a really good complementary back and a far better player than Damien Williams was when the Chiefs signed him. He's better than McKinnon too, and people want him back.

The guy runs hard as **** and hits the hole fast. He's a solid fit for what they need in my eyes. He's a bit fumble prone but he's not Devin Singletary. People get really up in arms over a couple of fumbles from a RB per season I guess. You look at, for instance, Pat had 724 passes or rushes last season and fumbled 10 times for a 1.4% rate, which is Jones' career fumble rate. If Veach and Reid have him in for a visit, they are apparently comfortable with that, it's more about numbers and seeing how he digests things at this point.

ya do it, sign this guy

that would be a low key really nice signing. That's what I said about McKinnon last year, but he only started doing anything that I expected him to in the playoffs. But I think Ronald Jones would contribute instantly.

He has some issues, but he’s not the scab some of you are making him out to be. For a value contract he’s well worth bringing in. Andy Reid can make goddamn Darrel Williams look good, surely he can bring out the best in a talented guy like Jones.

This guy has a bit of Kareem Hunt-esque power and balance. Seems he can catch decently as well. In a perfect world we could sign Ronald and Mckinnon to have a three headed approach. The only downside is I am not sure any 3 of them can block to compliment our passing game when needed.

Clyde isn't near as bad as you haters think he is. Yes he has to stay healthy i agree 100% but his injuries have been fluke like doing the splits that would hurt anyone. Last year he had gallbladder surgery during the summer and admitted he came into camp under weight so he had a rough start to the season and yes got hurt with a 300 pound man fall on him. He can make a big impact on this offense like he did his rookie season. This is his third year to prove himself and prove he isn't injury prone and yes we need another back I'd love Mckinnon to come back. Clyde Edwards-Helaire was also doing pretty good in the playoffs along with McKinnon I think they make a great one two combo. I've also seen Clyde block in the backfield he does just fine there.

How Clyde Edwards-Helaire mattered in his first start

Mahomes Report: Week 1 vs Houston - WIBW News Now

Like it or not I bet he is going be our feature back as the Chuefs brass like him and I think they know a bit more than you or I.

And if they bring in a guy or draft a guy great I love Training Camp battles and see who wins out if Clyde gets beat out so that means he is one hell of a football player and I'll be happy for whoever wins the job but I'm pretty sure it's going be Clyde. We will ride with Clyde
