I think Gilmore is done or close to it, Ingram is ok. We are going to have to count on lot of young guys\rookies so it is going to be a struggle IMO.

Is there really not straight line runner in the draft that can be had on the 3rd day?
It relates to hill because as of right now he's our WR1... Sadly.

Seems like a self inflicted struggle.

Ingram is okay? Seriously? Did you see what happened to our defense when he showed up?

Gilmore was a top-20 CB last year according to PFF. I know that has plenty of flaws, but please let me know what you're using to judge him so we can compare notes.

I think on offense we will be relatively ok considering. Defense on the other hand could get ugly

It was actually the smart move to trade Tyreek so thankfully Rosenhaus did us a solid. I’d trade Chris Jones next year as well if he can fetch us a 2nd

Even if you trade Jones next offseason and cut Clark....you're still sitting at MAYBE $30 million cap space and a roster that consists of around 25-30 players. At some point we have to field an actual team.
If you care about cap space next year you don't restructure Frank Clark and have him cost $9million next year. I don't buy that shit. I'd rather have Hill and his cap hit and maybe restructure that than have Frank Clark count $9million against the cap when he's not even going to be on the team next year. Hell shouldn't be on the team this year...

Even before we traded Hill guys like Eric Eager were clamoring for the Chiefs to sign MVS to take the top off the cover 2 and open things up underneath. He does something Hill didn't even do apparently, don't ask me to explain that one though.

Yeah but he was also on the field when we couldn't pressure the worst O-line in the NFL. Ingram is ok. I'd like to re-sign him but only as a rotational guy. There's no ****ing reason we should go into the season with him and Clark starting.

Explain why keeping a $9 cap hit for Frank Clark who won't even be on a team is a good thing but a $20-30 for a top 2 WR who will give you elite production isn't.

They'll be paying MVS and Clark $19mil next year and one of them won't even be here.

Clark was going to cost $7M against the cap next year if we cut him now. They increased his dead cap by just over $2M and saved $12M this year.

I really know nothing about him as I don't follow college ball at all but have we all forgotten that we drafted Powell last year? Where will he slot into the receiver room?
