2022 Draft - WR Career Drop Rates

I know, I know... another WR thread.

But I can *never* find this stat anywhere prior to a draft, and I always want to know it, so I am dropping it here for reference. Yes, PFF is flawed, but at least someone's tracking this stat.

Yup.

They get open and catch the ball.

I know that’s simplified, but those elements were severely lacking the last couple years.

That’s exactly my argument for Dotson.

Dude gets separation and he has great hands. He’s also been extremely productive the last 2 years.

He’s the perfect high floor pick to go with a high upside guy like Ojabo.

I don’t see Dotson or Pickens falling past the ffirst few picks of the 2nd rd tbh.

I didn’t want Pickens in the first but I think we have to at this point if we want him.

I do think Calvin Austin screams Andy Reid so we’ll probably target him. Maybe in the 3rd if we don’t trade that pick. He’d be a nice Hardman replacement.

Then again Tyquan Thornton, Velus Jones and Danny Gray could also be candidates to fill that role and they could probably be had with our comp pick

Yeah, I hated the idea of Pickens in the 1st but the more tape of him I watch, the more intrigued I get. Karlaftis and Pickens in the 1st would be pretty good.

I'm in the same boat regarding Pickens. I hated the idea as well but the more I watch I really like about him. I'm not sure if he'll make it passed GB though.

David Bell and Khalil Shakir have the best hands in the wr class imo. The amount of crazy catches these guys made in tough spots was ridiculous..Shakir was incredible at times.

Mahomes needs to grow up and let his receivers work through things.

He's not on a rookie contract anymore and frankly Aaron Rodgers refusal to 'trust' his receivers has been a big part of his post-season failures over the last decade.

Get over it. You have a smart coach and a good offensive system. Over large numbers, taking the good with the bad will yield a much better result than simply deciding to bury half your weapons and forcing the ball to 2 guys.

Bell isn't a good system fit, IMO. Too stiff - too much of a 50/50 sort of receiver.

Give me someone that will drop another ball every few games over someone that can't get into space every single time.

I just don't get the feeling they target a WR early.

Yea because they’re probably fine with JuJu, MVS, and Hardman as their top 3 WRs, and not a single one being under contract after this season!

I think that end of 2nd may be where they do it so I'll rescind my statement.

Just think everyone gonna be off that are predicting a trade up or them taking one in the first.

Skyy Moore seems like my favorite option and I bet we could get him moving up from 50.

He’s only played football for 3 years and is already an excellent route runner with good straight line speed and big hands.

If they are truly looking for a “basketball team” type set up for our WR’s I could definitely see them taking him.

MVS-deep threat
JuJu-possession receiver who can exploit middle of field
Hardman-gadget player and also deep threat
Moore-route running tactician with agility

I could dig that
