12-5. AFC West Champs yet again. *Yawn* Rinse, repeat.

Not sure how I see the playoffs going this year. Depends on how they're trending in December. We'll see . . . . . .

I think this season starts out like 4-3.

But after the bye... man. Brutal. 3-3.

But we should end the season strong -- I see a 4-0 streak there.

That puts me at 11-6.

New players, same results. No such thing as an off year with Mahomes throwing the rock. Just some different names to go in the record book beside Patrick. We beat Baltimore in the AFC championship game and then beat the Rams in the Superbowl! Don't tell Patrick that the Chiefs are taking a step backwards this year.

Just read the Chiefs are the first team in pro football history to play teams with winning records from the previous year in each of the first 8 weeks of the season. That's just unreal.

In a way, it's a good thing because we always tend to play down to our competition anyway. There will be no coasting to start the season this year or we'll never recover. We better be ready.

More I think about it, more I feel like this will be a case similar to last year where our schedule won't be as tough as it looks.

Arizona doesn't have D-Hop and we have the better QB.

Yeah it's a short week but the only team that has it worse on short weeks is the visiting team.

We get about 3 extra days to lick our wounds and prepare for... Matt Ryan?

I'll take off the homer hat here give us our first loss of the season even though I think we could just as easily win this one.

5. LV - W
Extra day off and at home versus the Raiders? Easy dub.

6. BUF - L
Second loss of the season because I think the Bills have got to beat us at some point + Josh ****ing Allen.

Lance + potentially no Deebo + we are simply better.

We are not the Chiefs of before, we have three demonic linebackers ready to turn King Henry into a pleb.

Figure we split this series but IMO there's a much greater chance of us sweeping them. I'll play it safe with us on the road.

Rams have lost a lot of star power and are - in my opinion - overrated. Time to wreck the reigning champs at home.

**** Cincy and their fluke win, our secondary is revamped and there's no way Burrow gets sacked 0 times again.

Second week on the road during a tough stretch, we take a loss and learn a few things about Denver.

I'd say 12/13 wins is honestly the floor here. We definitely have a shot of being the #1 seed.

I'm caught between 10-7 and 11-6. We're going to take some lumps this year with that schedule I think.

I'll be optimistic and go with 11-6.

We lose to Bucs, Bills, Bengals, Rams and split with Chargers. Win the AFC West again and march into Buffalo for the AFCCG.

Everybody’s chalking TB as a loss, but I think Mahomes will be out to make a statement that day. Plus, Brady’s 97 yr old bones are bound to start creaking soon.

I think Cincinnati will be another game that Mahomes will simply refuse to lose. In fact, I’m going to predict that they embarrass the Bengals.

I predict an undefeated record at Arrowhead, a loss @ LAC, and two more road losses. 14-3.

Overly optimistic? Maybe. But two years ago the starters went 14-1 vs a tough schedule, and I think this roster is superior to that one. And I don’t anticipate the turnovers and general flukery that we saw in the first half of last season.

I voted for the 14-3 record because I couldn’t find the 17-3 tab. We’re winning the SB this year boys and girls. I think the Chargers have the 2nd best team in the NFL and we lose to them, we lose 1 between Tampa and Buffalo and we lose 1 because “The fix is in”.
