In a lot of ways...they've proven what they claim.

They are just ordinary people who do not realize that they are receiving direct orders from the Committee of 300. The Committee of 300 and the Olympians are the same people.

They refer to themselves as the Olympians because that's how they view themselves. As beings equal to each other, but greater than our Christian God.
