It wasn't Hewbuht's fauwt!

It was Evwett!!!!

Waaaaaaaah!

Anybody else a little bit, "Really?" after hearing every last person and their mother blame the Chargers' pick 6 ENTIRELY on the receiver?

Ball shouldn't have been thrown. Herbert should have known Everett was trying to come out of the game. Maybe you shouldn't have run so much unnecessary hurry-up offense because you can get burned in situations like this? Jaylen Watson just made a great play?

All of these are contributing factors to the pick 6. But all they can focus on is trashing Everett so their precious Herpderp doesn't have any shit on his face. Gotta keep their perfect little angel clean! It's never his fault, after all!

I don’t think it was grounding because it hit George’s arm otherwise was headed right to the receiver.

Ah.

Yeah, if the ball got deflected, that's a different story.

Looked in real time like he was just side-arm slinging it near his lineman.

Fair enough, looked like it in real time then they just moved on.

Now the narrative is "if Herbert had Keenan Allen they would have won!!!"

People are so freaking stupid. IF Keenan Allen was there, all of those targets to Mike Williams wouldn't have been there, and he had a hell of a game.

Sigh.

I agree, that should have been at least an unnecessary roughness call. It really should have been an unsportsmanlike.

I was there sitting lower level. The stripes straight up ignored absolute blatant cheap shots and blocks by LA all night long. I mean absolutely blatant blocks in the back, holding in the ground, a WWE body slam of Kelce.

Herbert should've thrown it to the corner of the endzone away from the defender, up high where only Everett could get it, or Everett should've miraculously been faster than Watson and come back to the ball.

Herbert missed several basic throws in that first half. Williams also made some fantastic catches to bail out some poor throws. I didn't see superhuman effort. I saw a good qb playing well enough to won but making just enough mistakes to lose. If he doesn't get injured, I don't think there's a superhuman narrative.
