It's a cult car that will age well and always be remembered fondly over the years. The Kia has no such following or appreciation.

However, if im living in the moment and don't plan on keeping either i think the Kia is a more stylish car.

And being in California, i can't legally add boost to the Dodge. You can the Kia though since you're upgrading factory components instead of adding forced induction that wasn't there.

If the kit is C.A.R.B compliant, most aren't, and less and less companies are doing nowadays as the cost and trouble for such certification makes it difficult, especially since it's only for California residents. Most companies just opt out and don't bother especially on their newer products.

And of course CARB compliant means much more in cost to the customer.

The loophole is that you "can" modify the forced induction systems on cars that were originally equipped with superchargers and turbos.

Now you're not SUPPOSE to, but you can get away with it so long as the car still clears smog and visual inspection.

But if the smog tech lifts the hood on a N/A Dodge and you're running forced induction with no CARB compliance number it's an automatic fail.

They handle well with snow tires. The all-wheel drive helps. Quite nice cars IMO. Handle "similar" to a Porche. I'd argue, slightly better than a BMW. Nuts and bolts is, these aren't your standard KIA.

Yes I have driven a GT2 AWD that was stock. 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. Really quick car. Fully built out it was close to 60k. Great road feedback. However, It felt kind of cheap.
I took it up to 149 and the limiter kicked in . I am pretty sure it will run 170 plus.
would not buy due to the feel (what I call build quality). Felt Cheap and there was excessive road noise. It was a track event FWIW.
