Andy Reid, one of the greatest play designers ever, could not help Alex anymore. If he couldn’t do it, why do you think Nagy could? If Andy can’t help you, you’re pretty much cooked. Btw I’m pretty sure we all saw Alex struggle in that game even when things were set up for him to succeed.

Stuff happens. Aaron Rodgers was MVP last year and looked like total crap in the playoff game against the Niners. Mahomes was torching the Bengals and then fall apart in the 2nd half. I think the 2017 Titans playoff game was more about Kelce's concussion mixed with Alex & Andy struggling in the second half. Not sure how you can place all the blame on Nagy.

Justin Fields is not only the worst starting QB in the league, he has 160 less yards than the next place guy (Daniel Jones). He's on pace for about 120ypg.
That would put him at 2000 yards for the SEASON. In 17 games. |

Andy Reid has an actual track record of success to fall back on. Nagy has nothing but the permeating stench of repeated failure.

Man, that story above just gets more embarrassing for Nagy the more I think about it. Actually gets a good year out of Trubisky in 2018, poor guy gets injured and plays through 2019 with a bad left shoulder that self admittedly ****ed his throwing mechanics, and he's thanked for it with that abhorrent behavior. No wonder Nagy lost the locker room there.

EB has the whole offense to work with. Nagy is the QB coach. Who is more likely to be going through tape during the game?

People seem to forget how poorly the Bears were run by Phillips and Pace. They traded away high draft picks for years - first to mindlessly move up from 3 to 2 to get that ****ing scrub Turdbisky, then to land Mack, and lastly to move up and land Fields. Sure there would have been some busts in there, but how many of those lost picks now equate to glaring holes at key positions? Fields seems to be ruined already because he's constantly running for his life and has zero talent supporting/protecting him. He's David Carr 2.0. You can't blame Nagy for any of that. And if the details of that article are true, perhaps Nagy was just pissed about being handcuffed to Trubisky and a fatally mismanaged team. Doesn't sound like he dealt with it very well, but shit, how many people would?

Justin Fields sucks. Trubisky is basically a high end backup. Pace did a shit job of team building. And Nagy still had his own problems.
All of it can be true at once. He was getting ripped on a weekly basis for a poorly designed, predictable offense. His QB's weren't good. His team wasn't great. He wasn't good either.

Yeah, Fields rapidly developing into a legit dual threat QB barely half a season removed from Nagy's shit influence should put the kibosh on Nagy being anything but a big fat phony.

You need to pick certain plays that highlight his strengths while stating away from his weaknesses. Nagy had no clue how to do it.
