If KC is the best team in the league, it’s a league of extremely flawed teams across the board including KC. It’s like being the tallest midget.

The Titans game has to give anyone who is being subjective some concern.

They were playing a Malik Willis lead team. Malik Willis can barely complete a pass. Yet he took the Chiefs to OT.

Is there any doubt the Chiefs lose that game if Tannehill was playing?

Goes both ways too. Allen playing like dog crap for 2.5 games has to give Bills fans pause too.

The Dolphins and Eagles having a cream puff schedule has to give their fans pause. The Dolphins crowning jewel was beating a Bills team that had 9 starters out… by two points. The Eagles just lost to Heinicke.

Quite frankly, you nailed it. It’s a league of very flawed teams right now. Last year at this time the Chiefs were 5-4. I think the Bills were too. Then both the Chiefs and Bills got hot when it mattered. Mid season is where teams weather storms, not win championships.

On the other hand KC would be 8-1 if it wasn’t for a subjective personal foul penalty in Week 3

We can do this all day

Tannehill is not exactly perfect, so it’s hard to say Tennessee definitely wins that game with him. But anyway, I think KC is pretty flawed and so is the rest of the league. Tallest midget situation right now. Brady was correct in his statement that there is a lot of bad football this year.

Really?! Without looking it up I can't think how that has happened. We have Jones from the interior and Sneed from the outside. Who else is closing the deal? I don't make a point of tracking it but our DEs don't seem to stand out at all (as far as sacks) when I'm watching.

Dunlap, bro. Four sacks now. Bet he finishes strong with close to 10 sacks.

Chiefs have been getting pressure from Saunders, Dunlap and Karlaftis lately, and some timely blitzes.

Chiefs are on pace for 48 sacks, but I bet they finish more due to a lot of weak opponents coming up.

Should probably make a poll for how many sacks the chiefs end up with.

Dunlap has four? Ok, that didn't register. Good for the old man (and good for us)! Still hoping we spend some more draft capital on DE early next year but 8th at the midway point is a good surprise, even if a chunk of that comes from blitzes.

The Chiefs have 27 sacks on the season. At their current pace, Kansas City Will finish the season with 56 sacks, which would be among the highest season sack totals in chiefs history.

And while we get that people want sacks to be generated by EDGE guys, I like that we’re getting some production from the likes of Khalen Saunders who has 2.5 sacks, Dunlap has 4, frank has 3, Bolton has a couple, Leo chenal has one. Sneed is not the only one getting home. Among other things it tells us that, yeah we’re blitzing a lot, Spags likes to blitz, what else is new, but that the blitzes have been pretty successful. I don’t mind blitzing as much if there’s some consistency getting home and it’s not always the same player.

It creates some doubt as to who’s actually blitzing. Which means more opportunities for the OL to make a mental mistake.

Even if the Chiefs were 4-5 I'd vote Chiefs, they are my (pounds chest) favorite team.

I would say the only team that hasn't been "figured out" - in the sense that teams have a plan for how to play their offence, is Miami. I'm hoping a blueprint is found because they look lethal. Not infallible, but incredibly explosive. I think whoever beats them just has to go berserk on offence too.

As for us, I don't think we have the most complete roster, and frankly it's harder too because we're (rightly) paying our QB well. The only comparable team in that list is the Vikings in that regard, we'll see how the Bills and Miami look when they're paying their QB top dollar.

All that said, our QB, Kelce and Reid at least level it up, and I can't see another team that could be confident facing us.
