The race for the #1 seed in the AFC

With Buffalo losing to NY today, if we beat Tennessee tonight we will be tied for 1st place in the AFC but Buffalo owns the head to head tiebreaker.

It’s going to be interesting to see the energy KC comes out with tonight.

I’m just saying I have little confidence in the defense to get stops vs the Bengals. Hopefully they’d raise their play at home.

Yeah if they are healthy having to beat a division opponent a third time will be a challenge.

Hypothetically speaking if theses seedings stay the same going to the last week and no chance to get the 1 seed do you lose on purpose to move down a spot if possible?

I'm reluctant to say that the Chargers will ever actually win games they are supposed to, but they really should rise to the #5 or #6 seed before the end of the season given their schedule (3 of their remaining opponents are awful in LAR, DEN and IND and the other is TEN). As long as we stay at least at the #2, we'll probably avoid them.

Definitely rather play Dolphins. Chargers should pass them.

That would indeed suck. But I think the best case scenario is more likely, given the schedules.

Hendrickson currently leads the team in both sacks and quarterback hits with six and 22, respectively. Hendrickson combines with starting defensive end Sam Hubbard to form one the league’s more pressuring duos. Between the two, they total 11.5 sacks, 39 quarterback hits, and 16 tackles for loss. While Hendrickson’s pace of sack production has been slower than last season’s 14-sack performance, he is still a leader on Cincinnati’s defense and will be a tough player to replace.
