Bills vs Bengals

Gonna be the decider for HFA. Worst case the Bills win and we secure the 2nd seed. Best case Bills lose and we become the 1 seed.

Bengals are a 1/2 game ahead of the Ravens for the division lead and this game could give them the 2 seed and a chance at the 1 seed if they win.

Primetime in Cincinnati. Should be good

It looked really unlikely in 2019 for the Chiefs to take the 2 seed, but it’s a damn good thing they played their stars. Getting that 2 seed was huge in the run to the Super Bowl win.

I can’t see the Bengal’s throwing a game. Even if they don’t get the first seed the second seed is guaranteed two home games while the third seed might only get one.

Good point. I never understood why people get so mad at other fans(not counting trolls). When the Chiefs were bad nothing anybody said to me was ever something I wasn't already saying about the Chiefs myself. Nobody made fun of the bad Chiefs teams better than this site did.

Josh Allen can get his 17th road loss against the team in the 17th state in week 17.

Also, LSU Tigers will be playing on the same day. If they win then expect the Bengals to win as well.

Bengals made a 17 point comeback against the Bucs earlier this season.

Yeah, the whole idea of that is ridiculous. Even if their chances of nailing down the No. 1 are slim, seriously, if you're the Bengals, where would you rather play an AFCCG - Kansas City or Buffalo? That's a no-brainer.

The Bengals getting Hubbard back against a running QB such as Allen would be HUGE for Cincy. Hubbard is their best defender for containing QBs and stout against the run.

However, Zac Taylor has a trend of keeping players out an extra week after the players say they're ready to go.

He held Chase out an extra week before letting him play.
He also held Hayden Hurst out an extra week last week when Hurst said he was ready vs the Pats. (Hurst should be back this Monday).

We'll see if Taylor gives Hubbard the green light in such an important matchup this Monday.

Regardless of what happens in this game we really need to the Chargers to go 1-1 to have the best chance at them getting the 6 seed to hopefully play one of these teams. As near as I can tell Chargers win a tie breaker with the Ravens so should they finish with the same record Chargers would jump to 5 seed which isn’t optimal for us.

Thus far it seems like the Bills are taking this as a must win and Cincy is saying it's just another game. Maybe that's just how they roll temperment wise but.....

Not sure what's going on with the Ravens and Lamar, but it's hard to tell what they end up doing these last two weeks. I could see them losing both (Steelers, @Cincy) and dropping behind the Chargers. Then again, it wouldn't shock me too much if Ravens win out and end up with the #3 AFCN title. Who knows.?

Cincy's temperament seems to be this way every week; at least that's about as much as you get from them about the games each week. It's how they roll. But they are all in to win each week, no worries there

The thing that does worry me is how they have performed on Monday and Sunday night primetimes this year. Although both games were in October, they got their doors blown off by Cleveland and then lost on a last second FG to Baltimore in a game which they looked very "lackluster". I'm hoping they are firing on all cylinders for this one.

Poyer has a knee issue and hasn't practised yet. I'm sure by Sunday he'll suddenly be healthy but if you're banged up and have to cover those wideouts in Cinci that could be a problem. Remember Tua balled out on the same secondary a few weeks ago. I'm so pumped for this game but it would mean absolutely nothing to us if we don't handle business on Sunday. We just need to win by any way possible and really pile the pressure onto Buffalo because a win puts us back In the number one spot at least for a day.
