The Jags are legitimately better now, particularly on defense, than they were when we last played.

But the Chiefs are way better.

The Chiefs were basically pussyfooting around with Prince Tega Wenogho at RT when Wylie when down with injury for over half the game. Their WR room was bare bones. They were still giving snaps to CEH. Karlaftis hadn't hit the Furious George mode he's in right now. They've added Williams at DT. And of course the rookie secondary's had half a season's of additional seasoning since then. And the Jags did drop a huge pass early in that game against us, but they also had some flukey turnovers go their way in the first quarter. And the Chiefs still dogwalked them.

The Jags are going to be better this week than they were earlier in the year, but it's not going to matter because the Chiefs were way better than them then, and they're going to be way, way better than them now.

Not expecting anything like 47-7.
It wouldn't be a GDT without a bunch of people freaking out about things.

one thing i saw this week was jags fans oohing and aahing over lawrence's touchdown bomb last week

they were calling it his "best touchdown of the year"

really? a 40 yard lob to a college-wide open receiver is the best one of the year?

i suppose beggars can't be choosers when your QB has only 25 TDs on the year

don't think lawrence is going to pick us apart

Reid botched that game.
True, but let's not forget how absolutely terrible Kendrick Lewis was in helping Indy get quick, deep pass completions. I think the injuries and the terrible defense contributed quite a bit to that.

As usual the Chiefs toughest opponent Saturday will be... the Chiefs.

No self-inflicted mistakes, convert the high % plays (i.e. 3rd and 1 and stopping Jacksonville on 3rd and long), make extra points, etc.

GO JAGs

DUUVVAALL

So, since none of you Jags fans would answer, I looked up the meaning.

Quote:
Why do people say duuuval?
“Duuuval!” is a rallying cry of sorts for Jaguars fans to show support for Jacksonville's NFL franchise. The chant comes from Duval, the county in which Jacksonville is located.
I'm sorry but that just sounds dumb to me. It would be like Chiefs fans shouting Jaackkssoonn!

The Bucs are a good example of the problem with having so many divisions and division winners being automatic qualifiers.

Could be referring to Patrick's brother.
