Grateful for the win, and the Division title - but they need to get shit cleaned the **** up. Been extremely sloppy for a few weeks now.

****ing defense has given up season highs in points to the two worst offensive teams in back to back weeks.

I'll never doubt Mahomes, but the rest of this team needs to do some soul searching.

If you are fixing games, the entire crew would most likely be involved. This way no one can out another... or they are all just incompetent and like to throw flags and create controversy...

If you havent seen the Tim Donaghy story on Netflix, you should watch it.

The NFL is the only league where NO Official has ever done anything wrong.

Watch that show and then tell me theres no way that happens in the NFL.

Its not fixing games, its more like steering them. Of course there are officials who dont like certain coaches or teams or players. Its human nature. Gambling is human nature. Wanting to make a ton of money is human nature.

There are plenty of ways the NFL could fix this but they dont!

They could make everything reviewable, afterall isnt it more important to get it right?

They could allow Coaches to challenge anything?

They could have someone in New York watching the games (Dean Blandino) who weighs in on controversial calls and is able to over ride decisions based on many different camera angles that maybe the Ref didnt see.
This isnt a knock on officials as they only have one point of view. Its an effort to get calls right.

These would also prevent officials from "steering" a game.

Oh refs do things wrong and I don’t doubt that the NFL knows it. Problem is that if a player/coach/executive says anything the league fines them. With the popularity of the sport networks are fighting for rights to carry games. They won’t risk losing that after their contracts end.

I do agree that they should make everything reviewable. Not sure how much that would change things. Would coaches still be limited on challenges or would they get more?

Why was Tremon Smith screaming at the Chiefs coaches when JuJu fumbled.

I think they judge it by how bulky you are, did Big Ben get a lot of calls?

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the league has levied a $21,218 fine for unnecessary roughness against Houston Texans S Jalen Pitre. The fine stems from a big hit in the third quarter from Pitre, it came just a few plays before Smith-Schuster fumbled, which ended the drive and led to a Houston touchdown. Pitre was hit with a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play.
https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022...mith-schuster/

I think that was a bang, bang play, but Pitre did lead with helmet.

In addition to this being a typical Cheffers officiated game, I thought there was a lot of cheap shots by the Texans. I guess the Texans wanted to play tough, but it just seemed cheap and good officiating could have stopped that early in the game.
