I was going to take Anderson if I went the BPA route. You can never have too many good edges... And Anderson would fit even if they make a solid Edge acquisition in free agency. Given their $90m+ in cap space, I was a bit worried about drafting a position at 1.1 that they subsequently address later next week in FA (ex: if they sign OBJ, tackle will be off their round 1 draft board)... But Edge is safe.

Jalen Carter would have been the best fit for their scheme, but that's not happening at 1.1 due to the legal issues. Maybe now at 1.9 if he's still there? I have to ponder that.

As far as who I actually think they end up with? I'm not willing to reveal all those cards yet as they are all still in play at 1.9. I will say after browsing their forums that a lot of Bears fans wanted JSN in a trade down situation. Amongst other options... I was considering JSN at 1.1 if trying to get the Bears pick right (they obviously wouldn't have taken him 1.1, that would have been assuming a pick traded happened after we started our CP mock). Due to acquiring DJ Moore, I don't think they/I can justify a WR at 1.9 anymore given all of their other holes... So I'll be scratching him off my list.
