I think Bam can matchup better than Horford would against Jokic defensively, but Jokic will still dominate.

Robert Williams would be the one they'd have to have matching up against Jokic. They'd probably have started him. One of the better defenders in the league.

Boston doesn't have enough basketball IQ to do that. They choose to shoot threes rather than attack the weak defenders. Then again, it's hard to attack defenders when you can't dribble two feet without stumbling.

Agreed. Their basketball IQ is lacking, not their talent and athleticism.

Maybe Brogdon if he has a better role next season.

Mazzulla isn't a good coach but I doubt firing him helps. They've already had three coaches in three years.

I enjoy the schadenfreude of Boston experiencing a historic choke job as the greatest regular season team of all time in the NHL in the POs this year to the Panthers at home in the first round and the Celtics coming back from a 3-0 deficit to get destroyed in that same arena weeks later to an 8 seed in the ECF.

Does it still matter that Miami is an 8 seed? They beat the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
