Looks like it may intensify quickly in the hot gulf waters. We haven’t been hit in the Bay Area in a long ass time. Gonna be rough most likely. Stay safe peeps!

Flying out of Orlando tomorrow evening for work. Hopefully the storm doesn’t speed up so I can get out. Would be nice if it moved a little further west, too.

Sounds like the possibility of a 3 or 4 is likely. Also King tide is set to hit at midnight tomorrow same time as the hurricane. Gonna be LOTS of flooding if that happens.

You should be ok getting here. As of now it looks like it shouldn’t affect this area too much and the winds won’t get here until late Wednesday night/Thursday morning. My flight is 7:30 tomorrow night so I’m hoping there’s no delays that push it closer to that time.

You got a short memory. We bugged out to the other side of the state last year when we took a direct hit. And around 4 years ago a CAT 1 went directly over my house.

Before all that. St. Pete/Tampa had one hurricane hit us in 125 years
