No one is doubting Pat is great, but this opening week greatness narrative is overblown. By a lot.

What 313.GRIT isn't remembering is that the Cards, Browns, and Texans were all projected as top teams in their conference going into those games. Kinda like *cough* the Lions.

He’s also downplaying the Charger game when Mahomes won AFC Offensive Player of the Week in his second career (first meaningful) start.
