I think KC got up 17 early and hit cruise. Once you do that it can be tough to pull out of it.

The bullshit safety, and then the bullshit phantom horse collar got NY believing.

Mahomes got in a funk there in the second and third quarters, the picks were terrible throws- and there were several open receivers that he just flat didn't look at. Whether he'd settled earlier in progression of reads on a target or whatever, I don't know. I can tell you that the wheel route to the back in the left flat was open with no defender within 20 yards on at least three plays where he forced the ball elsewhere.

But those of you who thought the Jets are The Bears were way off base. That's an excellent defense and they were a QB away from seriously contending. Wilson picking last night to drop dimes...hey, tip your cap.

Our young receivers need to play better, no question, but they will. Just as Mahomes doesn't have many games like that. We're 3-1 and finding different ways to win each week.
